Frage: Wie lege ich bei Windows 7 das Profil für den "default user" an, wie ändere ich es nach meinem Geschmack

Vielleicht hilft der Tipp mit "Windows Enabler":

For total clarity, here is what I have done and it was successful using the Windows Enabler tool.  As noted, Windows Enabler does not actually install on the computer so it can easily be run off a USB thumb drive or network share to 'enable' locked menus and buttons.  Basically you:

1. Download Windows Enabler.
2. Save it to a thumb drive or share.
3. On the system you need to copy a profile, Right-Click and choose "Run As Administrator" on the Windows Enabler EXE.
4. Click the Windows Enabler Notification Tray icon to activate Windows Enabler.
5. Open the USER PROFILES dialog and click on the greyed out COPY TO... button to see it become enabled.
6. Copy the profile as you used to in XP and Vista.

Regarding the comment about wallpaper not copying - save the wallpaper in the PUBLIC\PICTURES folder and it will work just fine.  The profile copy function is 'smart' and doesn't copy a number of extraneous items like the contents of DOCUMENTS, PICTURES, etc which is likely why you didn't get a wallpaper after copying the profile.  By using the PUBLIC folders you don't end up with a copy of the wallpaper in each profile which is a little more space effective.

Also, if you like desktop gadgets and want to include them in your default profile you need to do the following:


* Create a folder named MICROSOFT in C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local

* In C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft copy the WINDOWS SIDEBAR folder from C:\Users\<>\AppData\Local\Microsoft (<> is the user you used to create the profile you are copying to default).

Antwort 3: Nun ja - das Problem mit den Benutzern, laut Handbuch gibt es 2 Wege:

den einen über den Microsoft AIK, mit dem man eine Antwortdatei erstellen soll, um das Default Profil von Windows7 zu erstellen.
Das Problem ist, dass man unter Windows7 nur das Defaultprofil kopieren kann. Nun den AIK kann man sich bei Microsoft auf der Homepage kostenlos herunterladen, soweit kein Problem. Ich habe dann einige Versuche unternommen, mir so eine Datei zu erstellen, aber irgendwie bin ich wahrscheinlich aus Zeitmangel gescheitert.

Möglichkeit Nummer zwei laut Handbuch ist über ein Programm das sich Windows Enabler nennt. Problem hier ist, das es unter Win7 nicht funktioniert.

Windows Enabler funktioniert ausschließlich, wenn man die Datei "als Administrator ausführt"! Ansonsten ändert weder am Grau noch an der Funktionslosigkeit etwas....

Bei mir funktioniert das Tool unter Windows 7 Enterprise N wie folgt:

1. Fenster zur Profilkopie öffnen
2. Windows Enabler per Rechtsklick "als Admin ausführen"
3. zweimal auf den Button "kopiere nach" klicken...

Möglichkeit Nummer drei hab ich im Internet gefunden, nämlich:

1. Profil nach Wunsch einrichten
2. sich anmelden
3. dann als Administrator anmelden
4. das Profil "Default" in bspw. Default.old umbenennen
5. dann das Templateprofil in default umbennenen
6. kopieren
7. alle Profile zurückbenennen

Problem hier: im Startmenü taucht beispielsweise "Autostart" mit "Startup" auf. Und manche Einstellungen wie z.B. die Lizenzzustimmung im Adobe Reader fehlen und müssen für jedes Profil händisch gemacht werden.
